New animation screened + new posters

Last night I rode my friend’s giant cruiser bicycle home in a blizzard. It was really quite fun and I got home alive! It did take a long time but for some reason it was really calming. You just can’t rush in a snow storm. I was coming from  Film Fort, a monthly event my friend Winston runs that screens rare films as well as local artists’ short films.  Last night had a great variety of local and international talent including some really amazing animations by Chad VanGaalen. I really admire everything he does, music and art wise.

I have also been busy making some posters for a variety of upcoming events… The first being a Geoff Berner Winter Tour poster and the second being the Out of this Spark two year anniversary poster. The second one is going to be a four colour silk screen for sale at the show.
